Our struggle is not against flesh and blood...so put on the full armor of God...and pray in the Spirit (Eph 6:12,13,18).

Pray

From our prayer letter: June 19th, 2024

Please Pray for:

Thanksgiving and Prayer

1. Travel Praise God for Mary's safe travel from Ecuador to Dallas Texas and for her Trauma Healing workshop at the SIL training center. Pray for my travel to meet up with Mary in Ohio in early July, and for our opportunity to visit Jonathan and Maggie in Scotland into early Aug. and our return to Ecuador the end of Aug.

2. Health Back in March/April, when in Peru, Mary fell hard on her knees on the cement staircase in the hotel. She is still suffering pain from a long recovery. Thankfully the doctor said there was no permanent damage. Pray for her as she still works hard in Physical Therapy and exercises at home to build up the resistance she once had.

Pray for Mary's mom, Ann Henry (92), who recently had some health problems related to her heart and kidney stones. They discovered a mass in her abdomen and are awaiting the results of a biopsy. She has severe pain in her lett arm and they are running tests to figure out why. She has been in the hospital for a 10 days and still has some time yet. Pray for her recovery and wisdom for her care.

3. Ross' Research Pray for our upcoming podcast with author Jane Vella (93), that is scheduled to be recorded next Monday June 24th. This podcast will later be translated and presented to our research group in Spanish in August. Pray for Ross' change of methodology to grounded theory, and the restructuring of his thesis to match.

4. Trauma Healing Workshops Pray for opportunities for Trauma Healing Workshops in August (English in Oxford OH), and in September with CETI and ProMETA in Ecuador and online.

5. CETI Regional Ministry Team Pray for our national workers, specifically for Blanca and her next step in surgery, and for Javier and his administration of his church and mission outreaches in Caracas, among the indigenous Jiwi/Jivi and other tribes in the amazon, as well as Quichua churches in Colombia).

Pray for new national workers and missionaries to join our regional team in the areas of research, Bible training, and trauma healing.

6. Our Personal Financial Support. We are in the process of adjusting for inflation and cost of living increases, as well as transitions regarding support from some of our supporting units. Pray God will bring new supporters to help us continue on in the work.
